Prenatal & pediatric chiropractor near Flower Mound

Twenty to twenty-five minutes west on Cross Timbers Road, less from western Flower Mound. Here is what makes the drive worth it, and when it might not be.

From the middle of Flower Mound, Cross Timbers Road runs west all the way to US-377. Turn right, and the office is about three miles up on the right in Argyle. If you live north of FM 1171, FM 407 west through Lantana is just as quick.

Twenty minutes is a real drive with a newborn in the back seat, so it is worth being straight about why Flower Mound families make it.

Why families come from Flower Mound

Many find the practice through prenatal care, often because a midwife, doula or friend told them to look for a Webster-certified chiropractor. Dr. Morgan Malpass holds that certification through the ICPA, along with advanced perinatal training and a certification in pediatric and family chiropractic care.

Then they stay. The same practice sees mothers after birth and babies and children as they grow. Sometimes the reason to drive is simply not having to start over with someone new at each stage.

Making the drive work

Book visits for yourself and your baby back to back, so it is one trip. Children are welcome in the room during your own appointment.

If weekly visits from Flower Mound will not be realistic for you, say so at the first visit. A care plan can be built around fewer, well-timed visits rather than a schedule you cannot keep.

Questions

Before you book

Still wondering about something? See all questions or get in touch.

Can I bring my baby or children to my appointment?

Always. This is a family practice and children are genuinely welcome — most postpartum visits here happen with a newborn in the room, and often on the table too. You do not need to arrange childcare to get adjusted.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what brought you in, how long it has been going on and what you want to achieve — which is why no plan is quoted before an evaluation. You will always be told what is recommended and why, and the decision about how far to go is yours.

What is the Webster Technique?

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment of the sacrum and pelvis, developed for pregnancy. It reduces tension in the pelvis and the ligaments supporting the uterus so the pelvis sits in balance. It is gentle, non-invasive, and works on the mother's alignment — not on the baby directly.

Is chiropractic care safe for my newborn or baby?

Yes. Care for an infant is completely different from an adult adjustment — there is no twisting, no popping and no sudden movement. The pressure used is roughly what you would apply to your own closed eyelid, or to test whether a tomato is ripe. Most babies sleep or feed straight through it.
